About this event
West Sac Kids Give Back invites families and community groups to its Annual Care Package Creation Event on Sunday, December 6, 2026, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at the West Sacramento City Hall Galleria, 1100 West Capitol Avenue, West Sacramento. Participants will work together to create more than 1,000 care packages for local neighbors in need, with donations benefiting nonprofit organizations serving the community.
Children of all ages, parents, families, Scout troops, sports teams, classrooms, and friend groups are welcome to participate. The festive event will feature face painting, holiday treats, balloon animals, music, arts and crafts, and appearances by Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus and their elves. This community celebration encourages children and families to practice service, kindness, and care for their neighbors during the holiday season.
