About this event
Watercolor Negative Painting with Kristin Camacho
Discover the beautiful art of negative painting in this beginner-friendly watercolor workshop with artist Kristin Camacho!
In this class, we’ll explore the technique of painting around shapes rather than painting the subjects themselves. Through a gradual layering process, you’ll learn how to build depth, create contrast, and reveal overlapping leaves and botanical shapes using beautiful, rich colors.
Kristin will guide you step by step through the process, demonstrating how thoughtful layering and subtle changes in value can transform a simple composition into a striking piece of art.
No watercolor experience necessary! This workshop is perfect for beginners looking to explore a new technique, as well as those wanting to expand their watercolor skills.
All materials are provided. Just come ready to learn, experiment, and create!
