City officials and nonprofit partners need volunteers to rebuild Castle Park (April 7-12) near Oak Chan Elementary in Willow Creek Estates South.
Although 77 volunteers have signed up for 149 shifts, more than 2,300 shifts remain open for families and local groups to help restore this cherished playground.
Registration is open for the Special Olympics Northern California Polar Plunge and Runs on Saturday, March 7 at Granite Bay Main Beach.

Sacramento County Public Health confirmed four local cases of deadly wild mushroom poisoning and warned residents to avoid foraging amid ideal conditions caused by recent rains.
Officials advise immediate medical attention for suspected exposure to these toxic mushrooms (Death Cap and Western Destroying Angel) as the statewide outbreak continues.
