- ➤ 2026 starts with several Folsom events, including NorCal Short Film Festival at Palladio Luxe Theatres Feb. 27–March 1, Folsom Tech Week March 3–6, HER Women's Conference March 13 at the Harris Center, and the Choose Folsom Awards Celebration on April 30 (honoring local leaders). Folsom Times
- ➤ Historic Folsom will host a free Galentine’s Passport Shopping Night on Wednesday, Feb. 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. along Sutter Street, where more than 20 local shops will offer free sips, snacks, live DJ music and exclusive discounts before an after-party at Fiori (614 Sutter Street). Folsom Times
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Folsom Cordova Unified School District has launched an interactive Facilities Comprehensive Plan that lets community members review data (and share input) to help guide future classroom and technology upgrades. The district will use these insights to shape modern learning spaces for students. Folsom Times
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Today, the Civil Rights Department announced a settlement with Folsom Lake Hyundai after a complaint alleging discrimination against a Native American customer, requiring updated policies, staff training & a visit to a local museum to learn about Native American history. Folsom Times
