- ➤ Yard House celebrated its Folsom debut Saturday evening at Palladio with a ribbon-cutting event and a $5,000 donation to Mercy Housing — the new restaurant opened to the public Sunday with city leaders attending. Folsom Times

- ➤ 7 Summers is bringing its nationally touring Morgan Wallen tribute show to Crawdads on the Lake on Friday, Feb. 21 from 9 p.m. to 11:59 p.m. at the popular lakeside venue, where festival-style seating and dinner reservations are recommended. Folsom Times
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Folsom Cordova USD will host a virtual workshop on Feb. 11 from 6 to 7 p.m. to outline its new Five-Year Facilities Comprehensive Plan detailing long-term school campus investments and modernization priorities; families, staff, and community members must register in advance to join via Zoom. - ➤ Folsom has opened enrollment for its Ellis Lifeguard Training program at the Steve Miklos Aquatic Center, offering certification and a pathway to summer jobs. Sessions run Feb 25 to Mar 1 and Mar 18 to Mar 22; applicants must be 15+ and pay $225 (materials included). Folsom Times
