- ➤ The City of Folsom will host Folsom’s Railroad Legacy: Celebrating the Route That Built a Region on Wednesday, Mar. 4, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Historic Folsom Station Plaza — a free event honoring the railroad’s 1856 arrival and Theodore Judah’s legacy. Folsom Times
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ On Tuesday, 126 Folsom State Prison inmates earned nationally accredited workforce certifications and completed apprenticeships to prepare for employment after release at a ceremony hosted by CALCTRA and CDCR; former graduates (now working locally) attended to share their success stories as the programs continue reducing recidivism.
