➤ Sacramento County Board of Supervisors approved a $359K donation from Robert W. Steger's estate to expand spay and neuter services at the Bradshaw Animal Shelter. The funds will boost mobile animal clinics for pet owners in the region. Folsom Times
➤ Leadership Folsom's Class of 2025 and 2026 is raising $30K to update the zoo entrance sign for over 130,000 annual visitors (Sutter Health leads sponsorship). Donation events are set at Shake Shack on March 18 and Chipotle on April 15, and a community unveiling is planned later this year. Folsom Times

➤ Red Hawk Resort Casino hosts a live music weekend featuring the 60’s Summer of Love Band Friday at 8 p.m. on the Stage Bar, Matt Rainey offering an unplugged set at The Apex, and Four Barrel performing classic rock Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Folsom Times

HEALTH NEWS

➤ CDPH is contacting families of up to 130 children potentially exposed to measles at an educational program in Sacramento County. A child, diagnosed on Wednesday while contagious at the event, is linked to five cases (one in Sacramento, four in Placer) and officials urge vaccination. KCRA
