- ➤ Historic Folsom announced a free twilight concert series featuring 13 weeks of live music beginning June 4 and continuing every Thursday until August 27 at the Zittel Family Amphitheater—uniting community members for an evening of music and local dining. Folsom Times
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ 13-year-old Carter Hemsley from Folsom became the first Code Ninjas Black Belt graduate after completing a rigorous four-year coding program in December, and his achievement is expected to spark interest in STEM among local youth. Folsom Times
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ The California Center for Civic Participation’s Shake The Future Up campaign held classroom sessions earlier and is now working to boost youth voter registration in Sacramento County by aiming for 10,000 new registrants by June.
