- ➤ Folsom-based Clipped In For Life has been awarded a $328K state grant to expand its youth programs with six one-week Summer Ride Camps for 160 underserved local youth. The camps will offer free mountain bikes, helmets, and safety lessons (removing financial barriers) to boost outdoor access and cycling skills. Folsom Times

- ➤ International vocal quartet Il Divo performs its Il Divo By Candlelight tour today at 7:30 p.m. at the Harris Center for the Arts — offering an intimate show of classical crossover hits and emotional storytelling to mark over 20 years of music. Folsom Times
- ➤ Folsom teen pianist Isabel Feng won first place at the national junior piano competition this past weekend in Chicago, earning the Chopin Prize. The freshman from Folsom High School represented California and the Southwest Division at the finals. Folsom Times
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Local high school student Ayushmaan Bellum earned global recognition as a Conrad Innovator for developing Dermalytix, a wearable device that uses sensors & predictive analysis to prevent pressure injuries. He secured the honor in the Conrad Challenge competition organized by Space Center Houston. Folsom Times
