➤ On May 2, the Rotary Spring Concert Series offered free live music, dancing, and community fun at Zittel Family Amphitheater in Historic Folsom. Residents enjoyed a 60s to 90s themed event with lawn chairs and dinner from nearby restaurants (all ages were welcome). Folsom Times

CULTURE NEWS

➤ The Folsom Concert Association presents TAKE3, a live concert mixing classical and pop music styles at the Harris Center in Folsom. The trio will deliver a mini-Trans-Siberian Orchestra show that supports local music programs (including scholarships and refurbished donated instruments). Folsom Times
➤ Lyric Michelle will perform this afternoon at Crawdads on the Lake, the venue’s first full band event of the year, at 9900 Greenback Ln. Guests can enjoy live music, food, and drinks on a sunny day. Folsom Times
➤ Violinist George Hayes, violist István Polónyi and cellist Susan Lamb Cook will perform in the Great Composer Chamber Music Series at the Harris Center (10 College Parkway) in Folsom, as presented by VITA Academy Presents; they will be joined by violinist Hrabba Atladottir and clarinetist Sandra Moats McPherson. ➤ Crawdads on The Lake will host a Cinco de Mayo party featuring The Wayside (for those 21 and over) this weekend at its 9900 Greenback Ln venue in Folsom, and dinner reservations are recommended to secure patio seating. Folsom Times
