On Wednesday, Folsom Animal Control Officer Janet Bradley rescued a frightened black puppy found abandoned in a box at Kemp Park and brought her to safety.

The puppy is now settling into a loving foster home—restoring hope for local animal lovers—and the rescue was shared on social media.

Quick Quack Car Wash submitted plans in March to build on a vacant parcel at 6711 Folsom Auburn Road near the Folsom Pavilions shopping center while the city reviews the proposal.
