- ➤ Matthew Muller was convicted for the 1993 kidnapping & sexual assault near Folsom Lake when he used a gun to force two campers from their tent and admitted the crimes as a 16-year-old, and he now faces 11 years to life in state prison. KCRA
- ➤ On June 19th, a SacRT security guard stabbed a boy at a bus station in Rancho Cordova on the 10100 block of Mills Station Road near Folsom Blvd and Mather Field Road after he was vaping on a bus — the boy was rushed to a hospital with life-threatening injuries and the guard has been detained. - ➤ Little Women: The Musical is still playing at Sutter Street Theatre after a strong opening weekend with full houses and standing ovations. The director Kenny Brian Gagni + a talented cast bring Louisa May Alcott’s classic story to life as the show runs each weekend in Folsom. Folsom Times
- ➤ The Powerhouse Pub in Historic Folsom is hosting a weekend of live music with tribute performances by Van Animals and 2Bad today, a dance set by Steelin’ Dan and Knowbody tomorrow, and a blues show by Rick Estrin and The Nightcats on June 22. The venue is 21 and over — a free shuttle runs to help patrons get to and from the event with seating offered on a first come, first served basis. Folsom Times
