Good morning, Folsom.
🏛️ Government
Folsom City Council will vote today on a resolution to form a new consolidated Natoma Station Landscaping and Lighting District aimed at addressing rising funding needs—this step in the Proposition 218 process follows a narrow rejection of a proposed assessment increase in March.
City leaders say the measure will let property owners eventually vote on a new funding structure to better support public services.

Law enforcement officers carried the Flame of Hope to the state Capitol on Monday morning to support the Special Olympics.
The event began in 1981 with a Wichita chief of police and has raised over $20 million in Northern California—helping fund the Summer Games at Santa Clara University this weekend.
