Young campers raised $168.10 at a 30-minute lemonade stand on Thursday at Yoga Nyla to support Twin Lakes Food Bank.
The camp will hold its final session from June 29 — July 2 at Radiant Yoga for children ages 5 to 10 to keep learning mindfulness and community service.
🎭 Culture
Kyle Lamon, a new comedy barrelman known for trick roping and engaging the crowd, will debut at the Folsom Pro Rodeo’s 65th Anniversary Celebration.
The rodeo runs July 2-4 at Dan Russell Arena and includes rodeo events, family fun, and fireworks — a wholesome treat for local fans.
🏛️ Government
Folsom Police, the Department of Fish and Wildlife and the Sheriff's Air Operations Unit completed the city's largest homeless encampment cleanup near Sibley Street on June 25 after nearly two years of coordinated outreach.
No occupants remained at the site, and follow-up discussions with a local partner have connected some former residents with needed resources + ongoing support.
