Bidwell Street, built in 2012, will close on September 25 for a 90-day remodel to update its busy location—temporary layoffs will affect 85 employees as the restaurant prepares for extensive improvements. Customers can visit alternate sites in Granite Bay or Rancho Cordova while the store is being renovated.

This Sunday afternoon at Powerhouse Pub in Historic Folsom, local musicians will honor late blues icon Mick Martin who passed earlier this month at age 76 as a tribute show begins at 3 p.m. and all proceeds will support his family—bringing community together—by celebrating his legacy.

Dignity Health Mercy Medical Group opened a clinic at 1050 Iron Point Road in Folsom today to offer primary care, pediatrics, hematology, oncology and infusion therapy with care available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. City Leaders, Choose Folsom and Dignity Leaders will mark the opening with a ceremonial ribbon cutting—bringing a one-stop care center—designed to serve local patients.

Folsom Bulldogs will face Grant Union on August 23 at 7:30 p.m. in Sacramento on ESPN as part of a nationally televised season opener.
