SMUD will host two free Meet SMUD events—one on Tuesday, September 23 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Stanford Settlement Neighborhood Center in Sacramento and one on Thursday, September 25 from 5 to 6:30 p.m. at the Folsom Cordova Community Partnership in Rancho Cordova.
The events will let community members learn about clean energy rebates, assistance programs, and career opportunities.
On National Police Women’s Day, Folsom Police Department honors its women officers who serve in roles from patrol to animal control, reflecting on a legacy that began with Molly May Larkin, the department’s first female officer—who broke barriers nearly 50 years ago.
