- ➤ Director Doug Holdren is retiring from KCRA 3 after 47 years of service—he began in 1976 and became newscasts director in 1987. Colleagues praised his calm guidance and mentorship, saying his dedication shaped many careers and will be greatly missed. KCRA
- ➤ The Sun Kings, a famed Beatles tribute band from the Bay Area, will perform at the Zittel Family Amphitheater (200 Wool Street) on Saturday, September 20th in a Rotary Club fundraiser with limited $4 tickets available at the door. Proceeds will support local community projects. Folsom Times
