  • ➤ Folsom Rotary Clubs will host Oktoberfest on October 26 at the Folsom Community Center to benefit the Castle Park rebuild—offering live polka music from The Gruber Family Band, authentic German cuisine, and a silent auction to support local community programs.  Folsom Times
  • ➤ The 28th Annual Folsom Mayor’s Cup took place on Friday at Empire Ranch Golf Club and drew 104 golfers who competed in divisions to raise funds for The CAVE Teen Centers—supporting after-school programs for middle school students.  Folsom Times

CULTURE NEWS

  • ➤ Folsom History is reviving its Haunted History outdoor haunted house at The Square at 196 Wool Street—now in its second year—to run on select October nights from 7 to 9 p.m. with admission set at $10 for museum members, $15 for nonmembers or $50 for groups of four while proceeds support local historical programs.  Folsom Times
  • ➤ Heartstoppers Haunts will open on October 3 for 12 nights and offer new scares like House McCutchen and a live stage show that deepens its spooky story—tickets are sold online with reserved entry times. Proceeds support the Cordova Community Council and a vendor area with themed food and crafts will welcome visitors from Folsom and nearby communities.  Folsom Times
