- ➤ Today, Have Mercy! performs at the Piazza at Palladio from 7 to 9 p.m. as part of the Friday Night Live Music in the Piazza fall series, offering a free mix of rock, soul and classic hits. The band—formed by doctors from Mercy Folsom Hospital in the 1990s—brings a long tradition of live music to the event. Folsom Times
- ➤ Stevie and Jones Caveagna revived a five-generation circus tradition at Circus Vargas in Folsom on Wednesday—mixing comedy, music and acrobatic stunts; the show will run through October 6 at East Bidwell and Oak Avenue. Folsom Times
- ➤ Folsom will host the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Rodeo tomorrow at the Dan Russell Rodeo Arena with events such as team roping, barrel racing, hide race, and mutton busting for young riders. Gates will open at 4:00 p.m. and a new Rodeo Queen Pageant, live music, and fireworks will follow—proceeds will support programs run by the sheriff’s foundation. Folsom Times

- ➤ Dignity Health broke ground on a new $123 million Advanced Ambulatory Care Center in Folsom Ranch that will offer outpatient surgery, advanced imaging and urgent care — the project will begin construction in about two weeks and is set to open by summer to support Folsom’s growing health needs.
