➤ On Nov. 7, Twin Lakes Food Bank will host its Starry Night Gala at Bayside Church Folsom — the event will feature live auctions, music, and fine catering to help fund programs that provide over 691310 meals to more than 1800 families each year. ➤ Folsom’s Vista del Lago High School crowned AJ Inderkane and Bill Sullivan as homecoming royalty Friday night. Thousands braved the heat today at the Hangtown Classic at Prairie City—scorching temperatures forced a shortened event with Lawrence and Deegan dominating. Folsom Times

➤ Delta Wires Band will perform live at Historic Folsom’s Powerhouse Pub this Sunday at 3 p.m.—tickets cost $20 for an energetic afternoon of blues music. Folsom Times

➤ On Friday night at Prairie City Stadium, Folsom’s Bulldogs secured a 28-9 win over Oak Ridge with a strong second-half comeback that extended their streak since 2006—Oak Ridge struggled after key turnovers. In another game, Inderkum’s Tigers pulled away to beat Vista del Lago 45-17 after a decisive second-quarter surge. Folsom Times
