- ➤ The Intercollegiate Rowing Association National Championship will take place at Sacramento State Aquatic Center on Lake Natoma from May 29 through May 31, where top college crews will race under the support of Visit Rancho Cordova and Visit Folsom — this 123rd edition marks the first West Coast event in six years and the fifth time Lake Natoma has hosted the regatta. - ➤ Folsom native Michelle Sechser won gold in the Lightweight Women’s Single Sculls at the 2025 World Rowing Championships on Dianshan Lake in Shanghai. She led early in her heat with the fastest time of 7:33.64 and plans to try for a spot on the open weight team in upcoming races + showing her continued passion for rowing. Folsom Times
