- ➤ Big Apple Bagels on East Bidwell Street reopened under new ownership as Andy Tang, a longtime restaurant professional, took over the shop from its previous owner. - ➤ Folsom will host the 19th Annual Chanukah Wonderland Festival on Dec. 7 at the Community Center from 1 to 5 p.m.—families will build menorahs, craft candles, play games and enjoy an authentic Israeli food court that connects them to holiday traditions. The event will offer interactive activities and live shows to celebrate the spirit of Chanukah. Folsom Times
EDUCATION NEWS
- ➤ Twenty-six Cordova High students have completed a 10‑week cycling academy—hosted by the American River Bike Patrol—that taught safe cycling, bike maintenance, and first aid while they capped the program with a 32‑mile ride from Beals Point at Folsom Lake to Discovery Park in Sacramento and received new Trek FX1 bicycles.
