- ➤ The Historic Folsom Christmas Cottage returns for its second year in Historic Downtown Folsom as a beloved holiday display built by local volunteers and sponsors. Santa will appear on December 5 at 6 p.m.—with the Christmas tree lighting at 7:30 p.m.—to welcome families and support donation efforts. Folsom Times
- ➤ Catherine Elder, a member for 45 years of the Order of the Eastern Star, was named the new Worthy Matron at the annual installation on November 22—where statewide leader Teri Baughman installed all 18 officers to support the chapter’s local charitable work. Folsom Times
- ➤ The Rotary Club of Folsom will host its donation-based gift-wrapping event—'Wrappin’ Rotarians'—inside The Grain at 705 Sutter Street in Historic Folsom starting November 29, with additional sessions on December 6, 13 and 20. - ➤ Friends of Folsom fed over 5,000 families this Thanksgiving through its 16th annual turkey drive—volunteers collected donations from early morning on Veterans Day to help Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services set a record with over 18,000 turkeys. Today the group is hosting its annual Framilys-Giving gathering at Crawdads on the Lake featuring Garden Groove as it continues to support local households. Folsom Times

- ➤ Adrian Blanco Jewelry was honored with the Corporation of the Year award—presented during CNOA’s 61st Annual Training Institute Opening Session in San Diego on Saturday.
