- ➤ The 2025 Live Nativity reenactment runs from Friday, Dec. 12 to Sunday, Dec. 14 at 2110 California Circle (across from the Folsom Auto Mall) with over 300 volunteers presenting the Christmas story in a series of outdoor scenes starting at 6 p.m. nightly. Folsom Times
GOVERNMENT NEWS
- ➤ Folsom City Council approved a $497,312 contract with Wood Rodgers (Inc.) to design the Highway 50 Class I Trail Undercrossing following its Dec. 9 vote; the design phase will ensure a safe, connected trail system for residents and set the stage for future construction when pending grant funds are finalized. - ➤ Dignity Health Mercy Hospital of Folsom unveiled the da Vinci 5 robotic surgical system today (a state-of-the-art platform that supports minimally invasive procedures with shorter recovery times) during a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by hospital leaders and community partners. Folsom Times
