- ➤ Flat Busted performed Friday (from 8 p.m. to midnight) at the Stage Bar at Red Hawk Resort Casino with a modern country show, while Thunder Cover will perform today (from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m.) in a free, genre-spanning dance event for all ages. Folsom Times
- ➤ Folsom Public Library will host its 7th Annual LEGO Building Contest themed Adventure from Tuesday, Jan. 20 through Saturday, Jan. 24, accepting entries until 11 a.m. on the final day; judging will follow and the public may view entries (all ages welcome) from 2 to 4 p.m. Folsom Times
- ➤ Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland will take the stage at the Harris Center for the Arts on Tuesday, Dec. 16 with performances at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., and offers a VIP package with red carpet benefits plus digital downloads to enhance the festive show. Folsom Times

- ➤ A local market update shows that Folsom home prices dipped 5% to around $780K while 725 sales increased over 4% from January through November, and despite rising prices with more activity in El Dorado Hills, the region remains busy in real estate. Folsom Times
- ➤ A new analysis shows that fees for building new homes now average $109K and have risen by 25% since 2020 — which may hinder some projects — while industry leaders urge local governments to lower fees to boost housing affordability in the region. Folsom Times
SPORTS NEWS
- ➤ Folsom Bulldogs won the 2025 CIF State Championship Friday night with a 42-28 win over Cathedral Catholic at Saddleback College (Mission Viejo). Junior Brody Rudnicki led the team with six touchdowns as they captured their sixth state title. Folsom Times
