Fourteen Kiwanis Clubs from Sacramento, El Dorado and Placer counties collected more than 12,000 diapers to help families at Keaton’s Child Cancer Alliance.

The donation was delivered last Friday in several trucks to the alliance’s Family Wellness Center+ a response to a call for help that grew into a division-wide campaign.

Folsom City Council voted on June 24 to begin the Proposition 218 process to form a new maintenance assessment district for Natoma Station so that funding from property assessments can better support landscaping, lighting, irrigation and small parks while consolidating with the existing district. The Council will keep funding at fiscal year 2024–25 levels until property owners vote on higher assessments, and Parks and Recreation will update the public at the August 12 City Council meeting — key steps in securing the neighborhood's upkeep.
